God created the universe for us, his creation. God created the earth and gave it to man, who he made in his image, to rule. He created everything from nothing and fill the Earth with all kind of beautiful animals and plants.
One of the most important themes of Genesis is God’s love for humans and his involvement in our lives. God created the universe and all life, and he was pleased with his work.
On this earth we can create our home and live while we are alive.
But God has prepare another home since we fall into sin. When we died, or when judgement day come, we as believers will be given new home with our God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, in the new Earth.
