Ringkasan:
God promised he would send his only son, Jesus Christ as a baby to this earth, as a human baby. But He is different with us, He is the son of God. He will be delivered from a virgin. Jesus is 100% God and also 100% human. God promised that His Son would rule as king forever.
An angel Gabriel came to visit Mary. “Greetings! O favoured one! The Lord is with you, God has chosen you to be the mother of a baby, a son, whom you will name him Jesus.” The Holy Spirit will come to you and your child will be known as God’s son.” the angel said. Mary believes everything Gabriel said.
Mary visited Elizabeth who was pregnant too in Judea. Filled with holy spirit, Elizabeth said,” Mary, you are blessed by God, and so is the child you will bear. I am very honoured that the mother of my savior is visiting me.”
“My soul praises the Lord.” And my spirit is full of joy when I think of God who is my savior,” Mary said. Mary praises God and glorifies God. We celebrate Christmas each year to remember that we are grateful that God loves us, He kept his promise that He sent His only son, Jesus Christ.
Lesson summary:
1. Mary was grateful to serve the Lord! Mary trusted God, even though she did not understand everything. Mary
showed obedience and faithfulness to God.
2. God had a plan to send Jesus Christ as the Messiah and God kept his promise to send his only Son to this
world to be our savior.
3. This is the good news that we have to share with others. the joy, hope, God’s love and peace that God brings
to this world through Jesus Christ his only son.
